Seven Seeds is seeking a Customer Care & Logistics Manager who has the experience and ambition to take charge of our dispatch department and strategically position our internal operations toward growth and customer support and retention.

In this role, you will be working directly with our loyal wholesale, retail and online customer base, building on existing relationships and forming new partnerships to provide everything they need to be successful from Seven Seeds.

The role includes organising the dispatch and delivery of coffee products and cafe supplies to our wholesale customers according to Seven Seeds standards while maintaining a high level of quality at all times.

The successful applicant will be responsible for taking all orders and dispatching coffee promptly, as well as documenting and tracking customer feedback and queries.

You will be responsible for supplying the production team with the daily coffee production totals in line with the current ordering guidelines, whilst maintaining an organised and efficient workflow within the dispatch area.

The role:

- Day-to-day production schedule management, including daily roast summaries, packing summaries, order-picking & fulfilment summaries and all dispatch run-sheets and management schedules.
- Dispatch employee management and scheduling
- Customer communications and support (wholesale, retail and online)
- Warehouse maintenance, product storage and stock forecasting responsibilities
- Software maintenance and logistics management
- Meeting and exceeding department goals, deadlines and timeframes
- Future growth planning and department efficiency analysis
- Problem-solving and proactive customer care
- Equipment maintenance and upkeep
- Hands-on contributions and customer-facing responsibility
- Attendance at all department meetings
- Any other duties as required by the General Manager

Successful applicants will have:

- Knowledge of coffee, the coffee industry, equipment; and an interest in helping shape this department for the future
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Full driver's licence and clean driving history
- The ability to self-motivate and lead a small team to goal-achievement
- Ability to work in an independent, self-directed environment while demonstrating a willingness to take strategic direction and work as part of a team.
- The drive to set targets and achieve deadlines.
