About the rolePermanent full time opportunity to provide expert clinical knowledge and clinical care to patients with a range of oncological and non-malignant conditions and supporting the general function of unit through role modelling and application of the principles of contemporary evidence-based patient-focused care, education, leadership, and portfolio management.
In addition, this role will provide support and direction to the Registered Nurse and other non-registered nursing personnel in more complex situations.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: Apply advanced clinical nursing expertise, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to deliver a high standard of consumer/patient centred care.
Support an evidence-based learning environment and participate in learning activities/opportunities for self and others.
Utilise communication processes and systems which enhance consumer/patient care delivery and unit functioning.
Undertake, and participate in ethical decision making in the achievement of organisational goals.
