About the Role

Appointments in the public sector are merit-based and will be assessed by looking at what you have done previously, the knowledge, skills and experience you have built, your potential for development, and your personal qualities.

As the Early Years Support Coordinator your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Plan and undertake a community engagement strategy (outreach) to connect families with the KindyLinQ program.
Work in partnership with the KindyLinQ Teacher to refine and/or target aspects of the program in ways that: respond to priority populations of the local community; enhances the capabilities of children and families; supports their needs and interests; and strengthens the confidence of parents/caregivers in understanding how to support and enrich their child's learning and development.
Support families to draw on the strategies and experiences shared at KindyLinQ and continue to use these in the home environment
