Are you ready to fuel strategic financial analysis within the growing energy sector? We're seeking a Finance Analyst to join our team, influencing and shaping business outcomes while actively supporting the achievement of our strategic plan. As a trusted partner to both the Gas & Electricity Markets teams and the Finance team, you'll play a pivotal role in driving success.

**_ Key Responsibilities:_**

**_ Business Advice_**
- _ Understand and translate Corporate Strategy and Business Plan into Gas & Electricity Markets financial performance._
- _ Influence strategic financial and commercial support for business initiatives._
- _ Provide analysis and support for strategic project steering committees and financial KPIs._

**_ Business Planning_**
- _ Lead timely completion of budget/forecast processes with insightful commentary._
- _ Contribute to short and long-term revenue and cost profiles, ensuring operational frameworks optimize revenue._
- _ Drive accurate information loading into SAP_

**_ Analysis and Reporting_**
- _ Provide critical calculations and data on functional drivers impacting financial metrics._
- _ Support interface between Finance and Gas & Electricity Markets teams._
- _ Conduct ad-hoc analysis, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, and ensure timely production of reports._

**_ Gas Market Reform Compliance Reporting_**
- _ Prepare analytical reviews for gas market reform submissions._
- _ Support preparation of Board, Strategy, and Steering Committee Papers._
- _ Drive automation of data collection processes for compliance submissions._

**Success Profile**:

- Knowledge of energy sector/utilities, preferably.
- Demonstrated ability in strategic finance, budgeting, and forecasting within complex organizations.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to derive insights from internal and external data.
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant disciplines (Business, Commerce, Finance) and post-graduate qualifications (CA/CPA) preferred.
- High EQ, collaborative focus, resilience, and ability to work within tight deadlines essential.
