Reporting to: National Logistics Manager

Your Reformer is an industry leading pilates reformer retailer, delivering high quality beds as well as innovative virtual solutions to both home and commercial clients across Australia.

Your role as the Sydney Delivery Team Leader is to manage your delivery team members and ensure the professional delivery and level of customer service meets the company's high expectations and aligns with our values of; Kaizen, integrity, family and passion.

You will coordinate your team each week for rostering, and lead the day to day processes required in your city for daily routes

Safety is paramount to this role, ensuring all manual handling procedures are followed at all times, COVID-19 hygiene is maintained, and road safety and rules are strictly adhered to.

You will need to have a great way with people, and excellent customer service skills to uphold our company brand and values. A positive, proactive attitude is a must

A high level of physical fitness is essential as equipment (reformer beds) lifting will be an integral part of this role.

Full car licence and own transport is essential. Delivery van/equipment and training provided.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and be first point of call for local delivery team
- As the team leader you are required to commence work at least 15 mins prior to other delivery support to set up the day including:

- Writing up run list and key focuses for the day
- Set up Essentials for runs
- Quality control checks on all beds being delivered
- Support training new team members. Support recruitment with 2nd round interviews when needed to ensure great fit with team.
- Attend team leader meetings with Logistics Manager fortnightly
- Hold monthly meetings with your team to cover off on OH&S procedures, 'valet delivery' expectations of service, team recognition, and team building
- Roster to ensure coverage over the week.
- Check timesheets accurately to the hours the team have worked and submit for approval for payroll fortnightly
- Ensure team are following OH&S policy including wearing gloves when handling crates, completing weekly van checks, completing monthly site walk throughs, etc.
- Ensuring rental beds are being thoroughly checked and cleaned prior to delivery to next customer
- Ongoing Weekly Waste management support
- Driver sign in check off
- Set up of bed and props on site, ensuring all in working order, clean, and customer is satisfied. Making sure all team members are following this process.
- Support maintenance when requested including scheduled preventative maintenance
- Lead large commercial installs and ensure YR team are representing in the most friendly and professional way
- Brief demonstration of key elements of the bed to customer, along with ensuring Photo and signature at every stop
- Prepare for following delivery shift where appropriate.
- Complying with traffic laws, and safe use of equipment/driving van/etc.
- Identify and manage delivery team members who are underperforming in their role and failing to meet daily allocated run sheets.
- Identify and immediately notify logistics manager of team member who is poorly representing the company and not meeting customer experience expectations.
- Vehicle maintenance and incident reporting responsibilities
- Vehicle monthly clean

**About your Skill-Set & Experience**
- Car licence with own transport essential
- Clean driving record required
- Experience in the gyM/Furniture removals industry a plus
- Forklift licence a bonus
- Excellent communication skills
- Friendly, helpful, honest, and customer focussed with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Eager to learn and embrace change with a high level of professionalism

**Job Types**: Permanent, Part-time
Part-time hours: 32 per week

**Salary**: From $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

COVID-19 considerations:
Pre-screening covid message sent to all customers prior to delivery, and team members to wear masks during delivery.
