Acronis is revolutionizing cyber protection—providing natively integrated, all-in-one solutions that monitor, control, and protect the data that businesses and lives depend on. We are seeking a General Manager, ANZ to lead sales and profitability, bring market insight into product portfolio development, identify new opportunities and target customers, manage accounts and relationships, develop proposals, negotiate and close deals, and represent the voice of the customer internally. Plan and execute departmental annual business plans and operating budgets, and monitor daily activities to deliver monthly and quarterly sales results.
What You'll Do
Achieve and exceed revenue and billing targets
Define sales strategy and priorities for the region
Align with regional functional sales teams and provide guidance and priorities
Execute the Acronis Sales Model and increase scalability through multiple routes to market
Develop marketing strategy and lead its implementation to achieve effective penetration in various market sectors
Ensure virtual team members work toward common goals within the Integrated country/regional plan
Ensure client satisfaction, win market share, and broaden offerings with potential new customers
Build and manage relationships with key clients, vendors, prospects, distributors and stakeholders
Provide leadership to day-to-day operations of the Virtual Team while aligning with strategic goals
Identify underperforming areas and rectify performance
Act as a point of escalation for all customer issues
Be a positive ambassador for your region within Acronis
Identify large opportunities and work with virtual sales teams to win
Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key strategic accounts and distributors
Leverage networks to support strategic partners acquisition and growth
Understand strategic partners' requirements and advocate internally with Product, DCO, Support and other teams
What You Bring (experience & qualifications)
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in sales and business development
Demonstrated track record in sales and business development, with a drive to perform in this competitive industry
Experience managing teams and building cloud channel strategy
Leadership in grooming and developing talent within the company
Proven record of success achieving sales targets
Knowledge of operational procedures and processes to support deals
Strong analytical, strategic thinking and project management skills
Excellent presentation skills
Disciplined, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Outstanding organizational, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to take on challenges
Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
Commitment to succeed through hard work and perseverance
