The Role
We are seeking an experienced Technician for the role of Passive Fire & Fire Doors Technician to join our Sydney Fire team.
In this role, you will assist with all facets of the Passive Fire and Fire Doors maintenance, testing and service delivery.
You will work with all aspects of Passive Fire; fire door testing, repairs and replacements, fire rating, fire sealing and penetrations.
You will assist with routine maintenance, compliance, and defect repairs, providing technical advice, problem solving and work alongside your team to ensure the highest standards of workmanship and compliance for all tasks.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
Experience in Passive Fire and/or Fire Doors
Experience with Fire Dampers (favourable)
Desire to upskill and increase knowledge relating to passive fire systems and products
Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
Reliable with clients and scheduling
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a pleasant phone manner
High attention to detail
Current Driver's License
