To achieve this, we combine an advanced SaaS carbon reporting platform with an expert team of sustainability consultants, allowing companies and financial institutions to understand, report and reduce their carbon emissions easily.

**About the role**

Pathzero is currently looking for a Sustainability Intern to join the team on a casual basis to assist our Sustainability Consultants and the wider team. This role is flexible and can be done remotely or in our co-working office in Melbourne (or in Sydney). Please note, this is a
**paid position.**

**This role will be wide and varied, however, your key responsibilities will include**:

- Working closely with our Sustainability Consultants to deliver on projects for our clients
- Populating our internal database with vital and relevant data to ensure our clients have the correct information
- Assisting our Head of GHG Research and Analytics with research into climate frameworks and up-to-date information for our product.
- Identify areas of improvement for the product and liaise with our Engineering teams.
- Learn directly from our Chief Sustainability Officer on matters of sustainability specific to Pathzero

**What are your strengths?**
- Currently a final year student enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree of Engineering (preferably Environmental), Sustainability or Sustainable Finance degree.
- Some knowledge of GHG Protocol, SBTis or other climate frameworks
- A basic understanding of the financial services industry would be a bonus
- High motivation, good work ethic, maturity and personal initiative
- Strong attention to detail, with a quality-focused mindset
- Analytic problem-solving skills, with a creative and innovative outlook
