The Centre for Learning and Teaching delivers a comprehensive suite of services and programmes that promote learning and teaching outcomes for students and academic staff. Based at Joondalup, the Centre plays a key role in designing and implementing future teaching and learning strategies.
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Research Assistant for an immediate start in the Learning Technologies and Innovation team within the Centre for Learning & Teaching. This is a HEW4 casual role commencing October 2024, funded through an external research grant. This position is responsible for supporting the Chief Investigator in the conduct of international research for an inter-governmental organisation.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Support the Chief Investigator in the conduct of discrete research through interviews, surveys, and web-based interfaces.
Ensure confidential data is obtained, handled and stored in accordance with current data protection and ethical guidelines.
Provide administrative support to the research team when required.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**:
Completion of, or enrolment in, an undergraduate degree OR equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualisation tools.
The ability to support the development and implementation of realistic research project plans in response to the research team's needs.
The ability to plan and organise own work to maximise the use of time and meet deadlines.
The ability to organise and present information, views and concepts in a concise, understandable and interesting format for a variety of audiences.
The ability to work individually and with others within the research team to achieve maximum effectiveness and efficiency
