A$110,000.00/yr - A$125,000.00/yr
Overview
Join a growing business based in Sydney's Inner West as a Group Financial Accountant, part of a close-knit team in an office-based role.
You will be responsible for all financial accounting processes and reviewing payroll on a weekly and fortnightly basis.
Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the CFO and managing two direct reports, you'll be responsible for:
Month end and year-end group financials with commentary
Reviewing payroll processed by the team
Payroll, journals, reconciliations and cashflow reporting
Tax lodgements (BAS, PAYG, FBT), super and statutory obligations
Managing fixed assets, intercompany transactions and trade finance
Budgeting, forecasting and system/process improvements
Supporting audits, analytics, and business projects

About you
CA/CPA qualified with strong experience in financial accounting
Hands-on experience with payroll processing and reviewing - you will be reviewing payroll processed by the team, so this is essential
Knowledge of EBAs and awards
Confident managing staff and working across business units
Skilled in Excel and familiar with ERP systems
Background in manufacturing or project-based industries highly regarded
Solutions-focused, hands-on and collaborative by nature
