**Seeking casual disability support worker - Thornlie area**

Devoted Healthcare is a Perth disability service provider (NDIS registered) that supports individuals with varying disabilities. Our primary aim is to meet our client's support needs by matching compatible staff based on clients' preferences. We service across the Perth metro area with services ranging from 1:1 in-home support to community access. We are seeking an outgoing and experienced **casual disability support worker **to assist our **Thornlie client**:

- a female in her 50s with challenging behaviours. In order to be successful in this role, **experience with autism, challenging behaviours and non-verbal communication is essential.** Our office is based in Gosnells.

A Disability Support Worker's role requires companionship, empathy, mentoring, positive behaviour support, and guidance. Activities may include assistance with daily living, domestic tasks, administering medication, behaviour management support, assistance with transport, and encouraging participation in community activities.

**Requirements for this role**:

- Available to work 2 days a week (9am - 3pm shifts)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or willing to obtain)
- First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain)
- Covid-19 fully vaccinated
- Relevant experience or at least a Certificate III in Disability
- Readiness to learn and adapt
- Valid driver's licence
