**About the role

The Program Support Officer will provide efficient and effective administration support to the Principal Project Officer, First Nations Health Equity, to ensure project initiatives are delivered on time and on budget.

About you

Ability to establish and support project governance by scheduling meetings and performing secretariat functions.
Experience working with project and program management schedules, reports, procurement and associated software programs.
Participation in the development and implementation of organisational processes that improve project governance, compliance and continuous improvement in project management.
Ability to assist with the planning, implementation and reporting for West Moreton First Nations Health Equity Strategy.
Understanding of the risks and issues management relative to the undertaking of capital projects.

Mandatory Requirements:
Under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld) it is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community. An Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person is a person who:
Identifies as and Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person; and either
Is of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent; or
Is accepted as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person by the Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander community in which he or she lives.
