Receptionist (Well-Established Accounting Firm)

We are seeking an experienced Receptionist to support a highly professional and well-established Ipswich accounting firm over the tax season.
Joining a small team of administration staff, you will be the first point of contact for clients and will provide administrative support to a team of four accounting professionals.Day-to-day responsibilities include:Greeting visitors and responding to telephone enquiries via SMS / email, directing calls and taking messagesDiary management and scheduling of appointmentsOpening and closing of the officePreparing pre-appointment forms / correspondence and proofreading documentsElectronic records management (including indexing documents into the document retrieval system)Tracking client records and liaising with clients regarding informationProviding general administrative support including filing and managing stationeryTo be considered, you should demonstrate a passion for providing exceptional levels of customer service, together with:Previous experience in an aligned role (administration experience within a professional environment such as an accounting or legal firm preferred but not essential)Well-developed communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skillsProven ability to work with a sense of urgency in a high volume, deadline-oriented environmentStrong time management and organisational skills to manage competing prioritiesAvailability to be rostered between 8:00 am to 6:00 pmConfidence and competence in learning and using a range of technology and computer systems (experience with Xero is advantageous)Initially, support is required up to the end of September; however, there may be opportunities for extension.Where to from here?
