Reporting to the Senior Mechanical Engineer, the **Design Draftsperson** will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of detailed engineering designs, drawings, and layouts of WesTrac dealer provided options.

This role involves the production of technical documentation (3D models and 2D drawings) of equipment and components used in the modification of CAT equipment and other projects and ensuring that our drawings meet WesTrac and Australian Standards.

**Location**: South Guildford, WA

**Roster**:Monday - Friday, Full-time Permanent

**To be successful the following is required**:

- Tertiary qualification or a diploma in mechanical engineering
- Proficient user of Autodesk Inventor or similar CAD software
- Experience in a similar role within heavy machinery or mobile equipment industry
- Detail orientated with excellent organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experienced in design for fabrication and manufacturing of mechanical equipment
- Practical experience in manufacturing is highly regarded
