Overview

A well-established and reputable residential builder is seeking an experienced Draftsperson to join their close-knit team. Specialising in Project Homes, this business has a strong pipeline of work and a culture built on trust, support, and long-term staff retention.

Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of the drafting process from preliminary design through to construction documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and buildability across all projects.
  • Working closely with estimators, schedulers, supervisors, and consultants to streamline the design-to-construction process and support efficient project delivery.
  • Prepare detailed working drawings and documentation for residential projects.
  • Amend and update plans based on client selections, variations, and regulatory feedback.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external consultants to ensure plans are accurate and compliant.
  • Ensure all documentation meets relevant building codes, council requirements, and developer guidelines.
  • Maintain drawing registers and version control.
What You'll Need
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Draftsperson in residential construction
  • Proficiency in ArchiCAD
  • Strong knowledge of residential building codes and standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team environment
