**The Opportunity**

An exciting position is available for an enthusiastic dietitian who possesses strong knowledge and experience as well as sound knowledge in the management of a diverse range of conditions. You will be working in a multidisciplinary team bringing your own skills forward.

**_ Your duties include but not limited to:_**
- Provide dietetic services within all ward areas of the Hospital, including inpatients, day program and outpatients
- Work in close liaison with the Food Services Department
- Deliver nutritional related patient education in both 1:1 and group settings
- Effectively provide assistance and support to the relevant Manager/s in the effective delivery of dietetic services within the Hospital
- Have demonstrated experience working in a multidisciplinary team

**Skills and Experience**

**_ The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following criteria:_**
- Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or a Bachelor of Science and post grad Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent
- Demonstrated interpersonal and problem solving capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to effectively and efficiently manage a diverse case load
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
- High standard of customer service and a team approach
- Commitment to professional development and maintenance of current evidence based practice
- Flexible, positive approach to work
- Membership with the Dietitian's Association of Australia (Desirable)
- Previous experience in a hospital setting (Desirable)
