- From $60 per hour + Super - upon experience: VPS4, VPS5, VPS6
- Flexible admin temp contracts durations & extension opportunities

**Responsibilities**

The Project Officer is responsible for planning and managing projects within the Engagement, Regulation and Oversight team.
- Create project plans and manage contract administration, financial management, reporting, risk management and support for change management.
- Provide expert advice and strategic insights to senior decision makers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and keep accurate records.
- Require flexibility, systems thinking, project delivery, and innovation.
- Report to the Manager of Recruitment Initiatives.
- Utilize platforms to provide tailored solutions, support principals in recruitment.
- Negotiate with stakeholders and conduct regular reporting.
- Produce project plans with clearly defined objectives and action steps.

**To excel in this role, you must be**:

- Previous experience in state government is a plus - VPS 5
- Strong project management skills and experience in planning, scheduling, and overseeing programs and projects
- Ability to provide expert advice and insights to senior decision makers
- Good communication skills to report to senior leaders and prepare high-quality documents and presentations
- Experience in contract administration, financial management, and risk management
