Our unique bilingual program immerses students in a second language every day.Unity Through Diversity is our vision for an equitable, inclusive and regenerative world.Our vibrant School is seeking an experienced School Nurse to manage the health care of students and attend to specified administrative tasks related to the care and wellbeing of students from the Early Learning Centre (ELC) to Year 12.
This will include the maintenance of thorough and accurate health records and documentation.To be considered for this role candidates must be kind and empathetic in nature, be collegial and able to work independently as the school's sole nurse.
Candidates should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and they will ideally have at least 5 years of nursing experience.
They will have a passion for health promotion and be able to build relationships with a broad range of people within the School Community, including students, staff, parents and external health professionals as needed.They will have highly developed organisational and records management skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.Applicants must hold the following experience and qualifications:current registration with AHPRA and NMBA as Registered Nurse able to practise in NSWcurrent CPR and Senior First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain)training in anaphylaxis and asthma management5 years prior nursing experience - ideally in a school settingPaediatric nursing experience is desirableIn return for your skills and experience you will:Participate in regular high quality training and professional development days at the commencement of each school termExperience and access a range of incredible facilities on campusHave access to the Employee Assistance ProgramTo apply for this position, please visit our website you will be able to review the Position Description and our Privacy Policy and learn more about International Grammar School.
