The Electrical Engineering Technician is responsible for undertaking routine inspection, maintenance and testing on Lift Systems, Occupant Warning Systems, Emergency Lighting. The Electrical Engineering Technician will also take care of the new lift equipment Installation, Defects and repairs.

Installation of electrical systems associated with lift equipment and emergency lighting systems. Perform Minor works and Do & Charge works jobs. Carry out all works in accordance with relevant Australian Standards & Regulations.

**Description**
- Electrical Design & Planning: Develop detailed electrical designs (schematics, wiring, layouts) for lift systems, ensuring compliance with project specs and Australian Standards (e.g., AS 1735).
- Engineering Compliance & QA: Review electrical designs and oversee inspections of installations to ensure compliance with codes, Australian Standards, and safety regulations; resolve technical issues.
- Workshop Engineering Support: Provide engineering guidance for pre-assembly of electrical components (relays, metering), ensuring adherence to drawings and specifications.
- Installation & Commissioning Management: Manage electrical installation, testing, and calibration activities, ensuring code compliance and safe, reliable operation.
- Advanced Testing & Reporting: Develop and implement testing protocols, analyse electrical data, and prepare detailed engineering reports documenting compliance and recommendations.
- Engineering Materials Estimation: Develop accurate cost estimates for electrical materials, considering technical specs and optimizing for cost-effectiveness.
- Carry out installation works as required. This includes Drafting and Producing as Installed Drawings, plans and/or Diagrams, completing and signing off on all relevant legally required Documents, Appendixes, and Drawings under the installers Electrical Licence.
- Calculating Material and labour costings for associated projects within the regions employed.

**Qualifications**
- A relevant diploma or at least 3 years of relevant work experience
- Construction White card
- Mechanical/Electrical aptitude
- Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards
- Valid driver's licence
