Electrical Engineering Technician

Kirrawee, New South Wales

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineering Technician to join our team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development of technical drawings and layouts for various electrical systems and installations.

They will also support engineering teams in planning and configuring electrical infrastructure, including substations, motor control systems, cable routes, and switchgear setups.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, be able to collect and interpret technical data, and perform calculations to support project design and implementation.

In addition, they will be required to estimate material quantities and costs, review completed work, and ensure it meets industry standards and safety regulations.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the installation, testing, maintenance, calibration, and adjustment of electrical equipment and systems.

You will also participate in workshop tasks such as assembly and wiring of protection systems, meters, and indicator devices.

As an Electrical Engineering Technician, you will play a key role in researching and testing activities to support innovation and improvement of electrical solutions.
