WesTrac are looking for a** Laboratory Assistant **to join our team based in South Guildford.

Reporting to the Laboratory Assistant Team Lead, the Laboratory Assistant is responsible for sorting, preparing and processing fluid samples, such as oil, coolant & grease and conducting limited testing as required, as well as ensuring the maintenance of consumables and laboratory instrument inventory to ensure the continuous efficient operation of the laboratory.

We are looking for an individual with prior knowledge and skills in preparing samples for analysis, along with strong organisational skills, who is process oriented.

**To be successful the following is required**:

- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)
- Previous experience working within a Laboratory environment
- Advanced Microsoft Suite skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment and manage multiple priorities to meet objectives
- Strong time management, attention to details and organisation skills
