Maintenance Supervisor

Exact Contracting are seeking a Workshop Supervisor to join their remote civil construction and mining projects in the Northern Territory.This role will be a site-based workshop position reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager and Project Manager.You will be responsible for supervising safe and cost-effective maintenance activities on projects.Responsibilities:Lead from the front, driving our culture and vision to lead the industry through safety;Manage resources effectively to ensure maintenance schedules are met;Drive operational efficiencies;Provide leadership and supervision through on-the-ground presence, guidance, and feedback to teams and individuals;Inspire and motivate team members towards achieving goals;Conduct scheduled employee performance appraisals, and develop corrective and growth plans as needed;Resolve problems and conflicts within the crew;Be hands-on when required, performing servicing, repairs, and maintenance of mobile plant equipment, including fault finding and diagnostics to prevent breakdowns.Role Requirements:Heavy Diesel Fitter Trade qualification;Current driver's license;Experience in supervisory or management roles;Experience maintaining Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi mobile equipment;Experience with Kenworth and Mack Trucks and related gear;Industry experience in civil/mining sectors with a solid understanding of mobile plant and crushing operations;Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance systems like MEX;Strong planning, time management, and prioritization skills;Effective communication skills for liaising with employees, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors;Self-motivated with a positive attitude;Willingness to work in remote locations;Hands-on approach to maintenance tasks.Company Overview:Established in Alice Springs in 1992, Exact Contracting is an Australian family-owned company with over 500 employees nationwide.
