Casual Disability Support Worker – TownsvilleAbout the RoleTownsville Support Solutions is seeking passionate and reliable Casual Disability Support Workers to join our growing team.
In this role, you will support NDIS participants in their homes and in the community, helping them achieve their goals and maintain their independence.This role includes personal care, community access, social support, transport to appointments, and implementing behaviour support strategies as needed.
You'll work independently but as part of a supportive and professional team dedicated to quality care.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality, person-centred support in accordance with participant care plansAssist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal prep, cleaning, and budgetingPromote social participation and community engagementAccurately document shift notes and maintain professional boundariesCommunicate effectively with participants, families, and your teamQualifications & RequirementsNDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)Working with Children Check (Blue Card)NDIS Worker Orientation ModuleCurrent First Aid & CPR CertificateDriver's Licence + reliable, insured vehicleStrong spoken English communication skillsAvailability for shifts across mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekendsExperience in disability, mental health, or aged careFamiliarity with trauma-informed practice and positive behaviour supportFlexible and proactive approach to changing participant needsAbout UsTownsville Support Solutions, part of Support Solutions Group Pty Ltd, is an NDIS provider focused on reliability, compassion, and participant empowerment.
