Financial Officer for Adelaide Familt Dental

We are a dynamic and growing dental group in search of a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. **Responsibilities**:

- Manage all aspects of bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
- Record daily financial transactions and complete the HICAPS reconciliaiton process
- Verify that transactions are recorded correctly in the practice management system and Xero
- Bring the books to the trial balance stage as per Xero.
- Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
- Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.

**Requirements**:

- Proven bookkeeping experience in health care - experience in dental setting will be favourable.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software.
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is a plus.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual, Contract

**Salary**: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
