We have an excellent opportunity for a dynamic, enthusiastic and self-motivated Assistant Brand Manage to join our Category and Marketing Team. The team is made up of highly driven individuals who play a central role in supporting our brand portfolio coupled with building insight plans for strategic growth.

**Description**:
About the Role

Reporting to the Marketing & Partnerships Manager, the Assistant Brand Manager will be responsible for executing key initiatives, including but not limited to innovation and marketing activities.

**Key Responsibilities will include**:
As a Assistant Brand Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading the development and execution of product strategies to drive growth and profitability within the organisation.

Supporting the development of the respective brand plans with a particular focus on the coordination of market and competitor data, performance data and relevant consumer insights.
Translating plans into active executional plans which can be fully leveraged by all stakeholders.
Proactively managing all projects be it innovation or marketing initiatives to ensure they are delivered on time and support with the development of plans to leverage the 3 year pipeline.
Developing and maintaining of brand marketing calendar capturing NPD launches and key activations which align to ATL plans.
Collaborating with the insights team to identify clear opportunities and using this information to support key initiatives.
Work closely with the sourcing team with aim of leveraging capabilities with the purpose of providing commercially viable innovation.
Support the creative team to ensure the brands are represented in all forms to the high standards whilst developing and establishing clear brand standards and ensuring forward briefs are clear.
Act as the guardian of your brands, ensuring consistency across all consumer touchpoints and balancing growth and equity.
Implementing respective marketing budget and ensuring all key opportunities are mapped in advance with the aim of leveraging it fully.
Driving commercially driven solutions which grow both sales, margins, and market share within the respective categories.
Assist the team with the preparation of detailed monthly brand, market and competitor reporting including brand health measures, profitability, and ROI on key investments.

Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in a similar role within the FMCG/Retail space.
- A strong understanding of consumer buying behaviour.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a matrixed environment.
- Customer-focused - tenacious about understanding consumer behaviour and passionate about delighting customers at every touch point they have.
- You can influence effectively across cross-functional teams and work collaboratively to deliver results and "win together".
- Analytical mindset - be able to support your case for change with data, and structure tests that deliver conclusive and actionable outcomes. Continuously learn with rapid experimentation.
- Sound ability to collect, analyse and present complex data and information effectively to support decision making and action planning.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide authoritative advice, influence and negotiate with a diversity of internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly developed planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and delegate tasks to achieve objectives and KPIs.
- Demonstrated record in delivering continuous improvement initiatives in a complex operating environment.
- Ability to adapt positively to changing conditions or unexpected obstacles.

Ability to operate at a strategic level and be hands on.
