Overview
Trayne Consulting are currently recruiting Wardrobe Installers to work for our very busy national client.
These roles will see you installing colour board and whiteboard wardrobes, including built-in / wardrobe internals - whiteboard, shelving, rail, angles, draws, gables, bulk heads and fitting wardrobe doors to tracks.
With a local presence and base in Prestons, you will cover works across Greater Sydney, Southern Highlands & the Illawarra areas.
Please note that works will need to be picked up from the factory each day either in the morning or afternoon.
This is an exciting opportunity for those with a Carpentry / Cabinet Maker / Shopfitter or similar trade background or handyperson with relevant experience, who is ready to grow their business whilst reaping all the benefits of subcontracting to this well-established national organisation.
This role will predominantly see you working in residential homes as well as interacting with retail customers, thus customer service is imperative to make a good impression with every interaction with the clients.
Responsibilities

• Install colour board and whiteboard wardrobes, including built-in internals (whiteboard, shelving, rail, angles, drawers, gables, bulkheads) and fit wardrobe doors to tracks.

• Manage on-site tasks in residential settings and interact with retail customers to ensure a positive service experience.

• Pick up materials from the factory daily (morning or afternoon) as required.

• Ensure high standards of quality and OH&S compliance in all tasks.
Requirements
Pty Ltd Company Registration or ABN (sole trader)
Relevant insurances, such as Personal Accident Insurance / Workers Compensation; Public Liability Insurance; Comprehensive Motor Vehicle Insurance
Construction Induction White Card
Valid Australian Driver's License
Clean Valid Police Check
Your own late model long wheel-based van (e.g., Hi Ace) capable of carrying material up to 2.8 m in length or suitable work vehicle and trailer
Your own tools required to do this work
