About the Role:
As a Civil Maintainer, you will be responsible for general maintenance for buildings and structures, ensuring easements and tracks are clear and accessible, visual monitoring the condition of some of Australia's most iconic power generation assets.

You will be working autonomously on the Mountain Streams Scheme in the Rubicon National Park with support from the central maintenance hub. Tree cutting, building maintenance, re-concreting race lines, checking embankments, inspecting dam structures, fixing fencing could all be involved in a day's work. In addition, you will:

- Plan daily work and equipment requirements for remote location maintenance
- Prepare work records and reports into the maintenance management system
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations
- Ensure that all Health, Safety and Environments systems and goals are met
- Development and improvement of work procedures
- Chainsaw and Machinery Operator licences are desirable

You will be based at Eildon which offers access to outstanding winter and summer sports such as water sports, skiing, camping and mountain biking. The region is surrounded by the Alpine National Park offers a lifestyle that is appealing to both individuals and families.

About You

Ideally you will have experience in a building maintenance or handyman position in isolated areas where you have relied on your resourcefulness to get things done. You will mostly be working autonomously so you will need to be self-driven.

What you bring to the table:

- A Mechanical or Building Trade is advantageous but not essential
- Clear thinking judgement to effectively operate in emergency situations
- The ability to interpret plans and procedures
- General computer skills with experience in SAP an advantage
- An understanding and commitment to Health, Safety and Environment
- Current Victorian Drivers license
