As a Principal Underwriter, you'll be responsible for the assessment of new business, additions, or alterations for Life risk products supported by Zurich. You will develop and maintain relationships with our key advisers, together with effective management of a designated adviser panel. You'll provide technical advice and support to our advisers and ensure that underwriting standards and service level agreements are applied to the handling of all cases received.

- Extensive experience in underwriting individual term life, income protection, TPD, and trauma insurance with high level individual underwriting authorities.
- Customer focused with a solutions driven approach.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and processes, ensuring seamless integration and continuous improvement within dynamic environments.
- Experience coaching and mentoring staff, with the ability to uplift capability.
- Completion of medical terminology course.
- ANZIFF and ALUCA CPLI certifications, strongly desired.
