The ideal candidate will work under the direction of the Property Team Coordinator, ensuring the upkeep and functionality of school facilities and grounds.
This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, repairs, and liaising with contractors to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.This position is available as a full-time role.
For those interested, part of the full-time equivalent (FTE) could involve bus driving duties.Key Responsibilities:Perform or arrange necessary repairs and maintenance of equipment.Conduct building maintenance tasks such as repairing locks, doors, furniture, light fittings, and plumbing; patching holes; touch-up painting; and assisting with renovations and refurbishments.Prepare and maintain play areas, grassed areas, and sports fields, including line marking.Plant and maintain trees, shrubs, and gardens.Liaise with grounds and property sub-contractors.Report non-programmed maintenance needs to the Property Team Coordinator.Relevant experience in maintenance and building repair.Ability to perform a variety of maintenance tasks.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Knowledge of Work Health and Safety standards.First aid qualified (or willingness to obtain).
