Job Description About the roleYou will leave a permanent legacy on Housing Choices Australia and the community we serve by leading transformative change within our Finance team.
As we reimagine the FP&A function through automation, AI and strategic business partnering, your leadership will unlock Finance's full potential to positively impact the entire organisation.
Your work will be directly in support of HCA's purpose: providing affordable, accessible homes with connection to community and services that enable people to build their lives.This role is ideal for someone who excels at leading change, building trusted partnerships within Finance and with stakeholders and can inspire innovation.
Key responsibilities:Champion the transformation of FP&A through continuous improvement, automation and adoption of AI leading to us delivering faster & smarter insights to our stakeholders.Facilitate workshops and strategic consultations to redesign processes, enhance data storytelling, and embed a culture of curiosity and relentless improvement.Act as a thought leader and internal consultant-partnering across Finance and the organisation to drive high-impact solutions.Coach and uplift the capability of your peers, building practical expertise in tools like Excel, Power BI, and AI, while sparking innovation across the Finance team.About the teamThe Finance & Risk group provides essential financial stewardship and risk management to support Housing Choices Australia's long-term sustainability and growth.
It manages budgeting, financial reporting, treasury operations, and strategic financial planning, ensuring robust financial health and resource optimisation.
This group strategically addresses financial risks and opportunities, safeguarding the organisation's capacity to deliver on its purpose effectively.
Desired Skills and Experience About youYou will have:2+ years experience as a Finance Business Partner with exposure to complex Excel financial models and data analysis projects,Comfortable driving transformation and challenging the status quo,Strong working knowledge of tools such as VBA, SQL, Power BI and Power QueryYou must agree to undergo any required employment screening, including but not limited to a National Criminal History or Police Check, Working with Children or Vulnerable Persons Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.Even if you do not meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply.
