The Education Assistant will be directly responsible to the classroom teacher, and ultimately the Principal of the School.
Key Responsibilities and Statement of Duties
Professionally represent the School through the Student Support team in personal presentation, mannerisms and Christ-like service
Operate with a high and consistent standard of service
Work within the Association and School policy framework at all times
Job Description
The Education Assistant is to work independently under the direction of the classroom teacher and Literary and Numeracy Support Coordinators in the following areas:
Prepare materials for classroom use.
Prepare lessons and resources.
Support and teach small groups.
Supervise students as required.
Our primary program is working to support children as they meet the goals of:

Gaining and sharing meaning in effective literacy and numeracy skills
