We are seeking to speak with a Payroll Manager with experience managing payroll of over a thousand employees and a hands-on background in Frontier Software such as HR21/Chris21.

You will be responsible for managing the delivery of effective and efficient payroll operations with the highest level of accuracy as well as ensuring compliance with relevant federal & state laws and taxation obligations. You will also be leading a team of 2x Payroll Officers, and growing that team along with the fast-growing workforce.

**Role Requirements**:

- 3+ years of demonstrated experience as a Payroll Manager, managing payroll of 1000+ employees
- Solid foundation with payroll software (e.g., Chris21 considered an advantage) and Office 365 suit (especially Excel)
- Comprehensive knowledge of:

- Modern Awards and other state and industry legislation
- Payroll tax and Workcover legislation across multiple jurisdictions
- Experience dealing with ATO, Centrelink, The Child Support Agency and Superannuation clearing houses
- Current knowledge of general payroll practices, industrial instruments and general employment related legislation
- Solid financial acumen with in-depth knowledge and experience of payroll calculation and processing
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)

This permanent position will be working 100% onsite hence full vaccination is required in compliance with COVID-19 safe practices. Free car park available.
