Mobile Application Developer Position
This is a contract role for an experienced Mobile Application Developer to work on high-impact mobile development projects in a secure, agile environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and releasing mobile apps for Android and iOS using various programming languages. They will convert UI designs into mobile components and collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure seamless integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and release mobile apps for Android and iOS using Kotlin, Java, Swift, Objective-C, and React Native.
Convert UI designs into mobile components and collaborate with UX/UI designers.
Integrate with back-end APIs and services including Firebase and CMS platforms.
Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1) across mobile platforms.
Create CI/CD pipelines using GitHub/GitLab, Artifactory, and HashiCorp Vault.
Write automated unit, integration, and functional tests; collaborate with QA teams.
Mandatory Skills and Qualifications
Required Experience:
Extensive experience in mobile app development across Android and iOS.
Familiarity with accessibility standards and DevOps practices.
Experience integrating mobile apps with APIs and cloud services.
Strong testing and QA collaboration skills.
Ability to work across all stages of the software development lifecycle.
Experience in early-stage mobile app development and tool selection.
React and TypeScript development for web applications.
Containerisation with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
Strong ownership, adaptability, and stakeholder collaboration.
Experience in government or public sector environments.
