The ICT Centre Support Specialist provides high-level technical support, manages technical escalation from the Centre Support Partners, creates and maintains support documentation, maintains hardware and software assets and participates in projects as required. It is a critical role as it's the primary escalation point for ICT's support staff.

A customer service first perspective is key to the success of this role.

**Your Impact**:
Identify and implement best practice IT standards to all operational activities.
Help in developing technology strategies with the aim of making Goodstart business systems and processes simpler, faster and smarter.
Investigation, identification and troubleshooting of all IT incidents and problems.
Handle IT service requests and proactively escalate and manage critical outages and security incidents.
Support, configure and administer IT services and technologies with a focus on automation utilising Powershell scripting and other relevant solutions.
Produce and maintain quality systems documentation as well as creating user accounts.
Respond and manage IT communications requests and communicate back to customers in simplistic, non-technical language.
Identify / solve problems and provide mentoring and training within the team.
Deliver adhoc project tasks when required.

**You have**:
Hold a degree in Information Technology related discipline or equivalent experience.
Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in technical support roles.

**Experience supporting the following technologies**: Dell, Apple, Microsoft and Android hardware. Microsoft Azure/ Windows Server Operations. Powershell, VB Script. Desktop and Server patch management and upgrades. SCCM and SCEP deployment and management of endpoint clients.
