**Legal Assistant - Conveyancing Clerk/Paralegal**

**Location - Narooma NSW South Coast**

**Full time with the option to work part time 4 days/week**

**About the Role**
- Conveyancing Clerk/Paralegal to assist the Solicitors managing conveyancing matters from start to finish, including property sales/purchases, leases, mortgages, commercial business transactions
- Responding to conveyancing related enquiries & liaising with clients, banks and other interested parties
- Attending to settlements and lodging various matters in PEXA
- Fill in for front desk/administration when required
- Scope for extending role to other areas within the practice including wills, estate planning, family law etc

**The successful applicant will have the following attributes;**
- Experience running conveyancing matters from start to end or have strong legal assistant/administration experience within a law firm.
- Ability to meet deadlines, work without supervision and manage a diverse workload.
- A high focus on customer service and attention to detail.
- Experience in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Self-motivated and the ability to work cohesively within a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and time management skills.

**Highly regarded**
- Experience using LEAP Legal software
- Proficient use of PEXA.
- Formal qualifications or currently undertaking study in this area is desirable but not essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 35 per week

**Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year
