**About the role**

Mater Clinical Education Team is looking for an experienced PACU Clinical Nurse or Registered Nurse to step into a **Clinical Facilitator** role. This is a **max term 4-month contract** from **17th March 2025 - 19th July 2025**, working **part-time 32 hours** per week based at our **South Brisbane** campus.

This role will support to the Education Coordinator in the delivery of education strategies outlined in Mater Health's Strategic and Operational Plans. As part of this role, you will play a crucial role in promoting and implementing best practices and evidence-based approaches. Additionally, you will actively encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills among healthcare professionals, ensuring consistency in care delivery through a practice development and robust education model.

**Salary range: $54.44 - $58.30 per hour** plus 11.5% superannuation and**access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900** +**access to many staff benefits

**What you'll be doing**

As a Clinical Facilitator within Clinical Education, you will be primarily responsible for:

- Supporting the professional development of the nursing team by providing guidance and resources to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Demonstrating a strong commitment to education and ensuring the delivery of safe, quality, evidence-based patient care
- Coordinating and overseeing the provision of unit-based and organisational objectives related to mandatory and role-requisite education
- Monitoring the implementation of National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards initiatives
- Collaborating in the revision and implementation of new policies and models of care to improve patient outcomes
- Facilitating clinical education sessions and workshops to enhance the skills and competencies of healthcare professionals
- Identifying, implementing and evaluating best practice models to optimize patient care and outcomes

**About you**
- Neuroscience PACU experience, highly desirable
- Post-graduate qualifications in specialty and/or education
- Demonstrated experience in clinical facilitation and preceptorship
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a willingness to work towards
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills at a high level
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong commitment to professional self-development and the development of others
