Job Overview
This is a leadership role that involves crafting highly scalable and flexible cloud architectures to address business problems. As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will play a key part in helping customers successfully implement cloud technologies.
Main Responsibilities:
Plan and guide customers through their cloud journey by identifying and resolving complex technical challenges.
Craft scalable architectures and drive technical solution discussions with customer teams.
Build strong relationships to understand customers and partners, and act as a trusted technical advisor to influence stakeholders from technical teams to executives.
Act as a thought leader in the wider community by educating, sharing best practices, presenting at events, writing white papers/blogs, and running workshops.
Shape product direction by gathering customer feedback and collaborating with engineering teams.
Own the technical engagement and success around specific implementation projects.
What You'll Do Daily:
Develop and execute comprehensive plans to guide customers through their cloud journey.
Provide expert technical guidance on complex issues.
Design and implement scalable solutions.
Lead technical discussions with customer teams.
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Key Qualifications:
A minimum of 8 years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
The ability to lead complex technical projects, coordinating with multiple teams as needed.
About the Role:
This is a high-profile position within our Public Sector Solutions Architecture team, working closely with public sector customers in Australia. You will help shape and deliver a strategy to build mind share and broad use of AWS services within critical strategic accounts.
