R&D Technician 4wd and suspension products

- You'll report directly to our Product Manager and be part of our broader Research & Development team. You will be involved in all areas of product design from concept, through to prototype, testing and into production.

This varied roll will suit a mechanically minded individual who has fitter or mechanic experience in the Automotive field. You may be experienced in product development, or a mechanic who wants to take their career to the next level.

**Your daily tasks will be broad and varied and will involve but not be limited to**:
Test fitting components to vehicles - including Suspension, Bar work, Lighting etc.

Learning how to design suspension / components

Working within a team environment to develop new products aligned with company growth strategies

Working with overseas suppliers - managing and maintaining supplier relations
Managing and negotiating lead times

Quality assurance (QA) processes

**Skills and attributes required**:
Enthusiastic, motivated hands-on team player who takes pride and ownership of your work
Mechanically minded

Ex fitter or mechanic - min 2 year experience

Experience with Suspension Systems and/or Suspension Components (_preferred_)

Electrical / 12v experience (_preferred_)

CAD / 3D drawings experience (or course training can be provided)

Thinks outside the square

Excellent written and spoken English

Works well independently and part of team

Ability to multitask - you will be working on a range of projects at once

Heavy equipment experience beneficial
