Research and Development (R&D) is a critical component of our organization. As an R&D Technician for 4wd and suspension products, you will report directly to the Product Manager and be part of the broader Research & Development team.

This varied role suits a mechanically minded individual with experience in fitter or mechanic roles within the Automotive field.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Test fitting components to vehicles including Suspension, Bar work, Lighting etc.
  • Learning how to design suspension / components
  • Working within a team environment to develop new products aligned with company growth strategies
  • Managing overseas suppliers - managing and maintaining supplier relations
  • Quality assurance (QA) processes

Required Skills and Attributes:

  • Enthusiastic and motivated hands-on team player who takes pride and ownership of their work
  • Mechanically minded
  • Experience as a fitter or mechanic - minimum 2 years experience
  • Experience with Suspension Systems and/or Suspension Components is preferred
  • CAD / 3D drawings experience or course training can be provided
  • Ability to think outside the square
  • Excellent written and spoken English
