The Role
This role involves helping our kitchen team prepare and serve food and drinks to residents.
You'll be working under the guidance of our Chef/Cook and play an important part in making sure meals are delivered safely on time, and to the standard our residents deserve.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in menu planning to align with resident preferences
Prepare, serve, and deliver meals and beverages in accordance with FSP standards
Perform general kitchen cleaning duties and support FSP monitoring tasks (e.g. temperature checks, receipting goods)
Ensure friendly, timely meal service to all residents
Report any concerns to the Registered Nurse in Charge
Carry out other tasks as directed, within your skill set
What we're looking for:
A completed Food Handling Certificate
A current (or willing to obtain) National Police Check
Experience working in aged care food services, hospitality or catering
Someone who meets the Aged Care Worker Screening requirements
