**About the role**

Quantum Electrical & Technological Services is seeking a skilled and experienced Electronic Equipment Trades Worker to join our team in Sydney, NSW. As an Electronic Equipment Trades Worker, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of electronic equipment and systems. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the growth and success of our company.

**What you'll be doing**
- Install, maintain, and repair a variety of electronic equipment, including industrial controls, telecommunication systems, and computer-based systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with electronic systems and devices, and implement appropriate solutions
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to understand system specifications and requirements
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the reliable operation of electronic equipment
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide high-quality customer service
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to work performed
- Comply with all relevant safety regulations and workplace policies

**What we're looking for**
- Formal qualifications in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field
- Extensive experience (5+ years) as an Electronic Equipment Trades Worker or in a similar role
- Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex electronic systems and equipment
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to identify and implement effective solutions
- Excellent technical and mechanical skills, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Good communication and customer service skills to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders
- Commitment to safety and a demonstrated understanding of relevant workplace health and safety regulations
