**About the Role**

The purpose of this role is to manage, control & process the company's payroll and all other payroll related duties. This role is part time 3 or 4 days a week (flexible days / hours)

Key duties include:

- End to end processing of weekly casual/permanent payrolls by the required deadline.
- Action payroll requests promptly and accurately e.g. new hires, separation, changes, team members enquiries.
- Support internal reporting & statutory reporting requirements - end of month reporting, reconciliation and payments.
- Reconciling payroll-related accounts and end of year reporting
- Ensuring compliance with department controls and processes to ensure an accurate payroll function and minimise the risk of errors.
- Maintain the integrity of employee payroll data in the company's payroll and time & attendance systems.
- Proactively identify opportunities to automate and streamline payroll processes.
- Work with in-venue managers and rostering personnel to ensure accurate capturing of time & attendance data and correct interpretation of awards or enterprise agreements.

**About YOU**
- Three years' experience in end to end payroll processing.
- Current knowledge of legislation and superannuation.
- Sound working knowledge of Excel & Word.
- Previous experience with payroll software - MicroPay, Datacom (Datapay payroll software) & Human Force (desirable)
- A mature approach and style that embraces RAC Arenas culture of professionalism and confidentiality.
- A team player that takes initiative in the best interests of the smooth operation of the team
- Strong organisational skills and a level of attention to detail that is methodical, accurate and deadline-driven
