Safety Administration Officer - Casual Full Time

NextGen Skills are currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team, you will play a key role in the Apprentice Employment team with a primary focus on Safety.

**About Us**:
NextGen Skills are a not-for-profit organisation, focusing on providing education, training and employment solutions, with a particular emphasis on Apprenticeships and Traineeships.

**Duties will include, but not limited to**:

- Facilitate the completion of host safety assessments with host employers (existing and new as directed) in line with organizational requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including the Safety Team, to ensure accurate and compliant safety documentation.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, particularly host employers, to collect required safety information and documentation.
- Ensure safety assessment forms are completed in full, reviewed, and approved by the Safety Team.
- Upload completed and approved safety assessments to Workforce One (WF1) promptly.
- Maintain clear records of safety assessment activities, timelines, and stakeholder communications.
- Monitor outstanding assessments and proactively follow up to ensure completion within required timeframes.
- Escalate risks, delays, or non-compliance issues to the appropriate internal stakeholders.
- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining professionalism and responsiveness in all interactions.

**What we are looking for**:

- Experience as an employer of apprentices or supervision of apprentices in the workplace is highly desirable
- Understanding of the practical workings of the apprenticeship system
- Understanding and demonstration of a proactive approach to safety
- Demonstrated ability to relate to young people in a working environment, and to provide guidance, supervision and mentoring to apprentices
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to relate to a range of stakeholders
- Outstanding organisation and time management skills
- Ability to work independently as required
