Our Partner Solutions Group (PSG) specialists team provide, with our vendors, presales technical guidance and solutions aligned to the customers' requirements across the vendor marketplace. Through listening to our clients and understanding their needs the Datacom PSG Presales specialists is tasked to create both the transition path and the bill of materials to deliver the customers outcome.
About the Role
As the PSG Specialist Team Lead, you will have a strong working knowledge of the Australian Hardware and Software technologies as well as a history in guiding and mentoring people. The role will be both a hands-on and a leadership role, responsible for developing and delivering national growth through engaging conversations with clients across the technologies of our focus vendors.
What you'll do
As PSG Specialist Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading and developing your team to exceed the expectations of our clients and our sales team members. You will work to create a high level of employee engagement, guiding the team in their growth with our focus vendors and ensuring their drive on successful customer outcomes.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Developing the team to exceed customer and sales expectations
- Provide guidance on working within Datacom LoB's to build better aligned outcomes and scale in our offerings to our clients
- Be the advocate for the PSG Specialist Team through to the Sales leadership and Management
- Be a participant in developing best practice for the team and our client engagements
- Assist the team in implementing best of Datacom process to ensure a high repeatability across the group.
- Ensure each employee has a performance and development plan that enables continuous proactive evaluation, and improvement of performance.
- Identify and support staff capable of radical innovation that can disrupt the industry through providing an enriched environment and strong leadership.

What you'll bring
You'll have over 10 years' industry. Ideally, with a deep knowledge across either managed Workplace, Applications, Networking, Infrastructure, Cloud or Security. Technical connections with the leads of the Australian partner market and its key players, including major hardware/software vendors, products and solutions. You will have demonstrated leadership ability, with capacity to motivate and drive the team to create exceptional outcomes for our clients.
You will be comfortable networking and communicating with senior stakeholders both internally and externally; possess strong technical confidence, proven negotiation skills and an aptitude to securing a win-win outcome for all parties.
