**About the role**:
We are looking for an Architecture & Solution Manager to join our collaborative and innovative Data & Analytics team, reporting to the General Manager of Data & Analytics. As a valued member of the team, you will work on supporting the evolution of our architecture and capability. Th role will also work across both projects and BAU in representing the DnA function to Enterprise Architecture and engage across the business to identify and support opportunities to deliver value from data & analytics.

**Additional responsibilities will include**:

- Architect, develop and maintain the Data & Analytics strategy, architecture, services and capability
- Create, implement, optimise and maintain the architecture roadmaps and plans for the establishment of new data & analytics platform technologies
- Continuous improvement to optimise the modern technology stack and propose changes where appropriate/required.
- Understand the end to end impact across the DnA architecture for current and future changes
- Design and develop the enterprise Data & Analytics cloud solutions which includes Azure Data Factory, ADLS Gen 2, Databricks, Lakehouse, Microsoft Synapse, Qlik.
- Design highly scalable and elastic solutions for data acquisition, data storage, data recovery, data security, data resilience and data availability.

**To be successful you will have**:

- Experience with architectural definition & delivery of large and complex solutions with the ability to influence stakeholders and decision making
- Experience in architecture and design roles, with a focus on data systems such as data warehousing, reporting, machine learning and integration
- Strong know-how of cloud platform solutions and the related infrastructure and engineering pipelines. Practical experience with big data solutions in at least one major cloud environment such as Azure, AWS, Databricks or GCP
- Experience with Big Data technologies such as: Databricks, Spark, etc.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to all levels within the organisation (both technical and business)
- Agile delivery experience
