About the role
As the Restaurant Manager for Mum's Kitchen, you will oversee the daily operations of our restaurant located in Tranmere, SA 5073.
This full-time role is essential for ensuring smooth operations and delivering an exceptional dining experience to our customers.
What you'll be doing
Manage and coordinate all front-of-house staff, including servers and hosts, to ensure efficient and friendly customer service.
Oversee inventory management and ordering of food, beverages, and supplies to maintain optimal stock levels.
Develop and implement staff training programs to improve customer service and operational efficiency.
Monitor and adjust daily operations, such as reservations, staffing, and table management, to optimize workflow and customer experience.
Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to align front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
Manage staff schedules, time-off requests, and performance reviews.
Contribute to marketing and promotional strategies.
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years of experience as a restaurant manager in the hospitality industry.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to foster a positive dining environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle daily challenges.
Proficiency in inventory management, cost control, and financial reporting.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Knowledge of food safety, liquor licensing, and relevant regulations.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
