Adventure Team is seeking new disability support workers/mentors to join our growing team in Brisbane. We are advertising for multiple casual support roles with availability to start immediately.

**About Us**

Since forming in 2019, we've grown from a team of 2 on the Gold Coast in Queensland to many, and we are in the process of expanding our services in Brisbane. We are a disability support company, helping people living with disabilities through providing mentoring, group and respite services. As a team we are strongly driven to help others and offer personalised services centred around pushing boundaries, building hobbies and routine, and encouraging adventure.

**About the Opportunity**

We provide a fun and flexible environment where no two days are the same. Adventure is at the heart of who we are and we love to operate outdoors and encourage our clients to discover their own passions and interests.

As a mentor, you will be supporting our clients with daily living and community access, as well as occasional overnight respite and weekends away (if interested). We provide support in a variety of settings covering a broad range of needs and we work to ensure we match you, your interests, availability and skillset to the right person.

**Requirements**:

- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain before commencing work
- Working with Children Card (Blue Card)
- Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
- Current, non-restricted open drivers licence or non-restricted provisional licence
- Roadworthy, registered and fully comprehensive insured vehicle
- Strong verbal communication skills

- Ability to multi-task and problem-solve effectively under high stress situations
- High level of interpersonal skills (written and verbal) with the ability to communicate in a professional and compassionate manner with clients from a wide range of backgrounds
- Ability to work autonomously, use your own initiative and be both proactive and adaptable

**Salary**: From $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 10 per week
