**About the Role**:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Specialist to join our IT Workplace Technology team based at our Melbourne CBD office in a full-time permanent capacity.

This role will be responsible for providing tactical and operational direction to all our Workplace Domain technical resources. In addition, the role will ensure that all the relevant IT Infrastructure, security and end user compute delivery skills are available, assigned and correctly utilised to delivery to the wider project delivery outcomes.

Working directly with Delivery Leads, Project Managers, Technical and Functional SME's and vendors, this role is a fantastic opportunity to embed yourself into the business and be part of our many exciting projects.

**In this role you will deliver**:

- Develop resourcing plans and reports in conjunction with key system and business stakeholders in a multi-sourced environment
- Assist with resource allocation in relation to projects. This may involve liaison with technical resources in the wider organization i.e., security, other domains, vendors.
- Create and maintain documentation according to organisational standards (procedures, technical documentation and process diagrams associated with IT Infrastructure) as part of project delivery and enhancement activities
- Develop detailed system implementation plans in conjunction with key system and business stakeholders
- Work with Project Managers and SME's, across domains, to understand technical resourcing requirements as required
- Recommend and implement opportunities for technical project delivery and operational improvement
- Provide consulting or training where more difficult and / or technical matters associated with delivery arise.

**To succeed in this role you'll have**:

- Tertiary qualifications in IT or related discipline
- ITIL qualifications; foundation level minimum
- Microsoft, Cisco, Citrix Cloud and VMWare certifications - advantageous
- Experience in managing technical resources
- Experience in delivering multiple concurrent projects successfully, and to schedule
