We're looking for a passionate and curious Research Analyst to help take Equity Mates to new heights.Across video, audio, written content and social media, Equity Mates reaches hundreds of thousands of Australians each month and helps them understand what is happening in markets and what is possible when they take control of their money.
You will have a role in shaping it all.Your role will start with researching interesting topics, the news moving markets and upcoming guests, and then turning that into emails, video scripts, podcast episodes and social media content.This role is ideal for someone who is a constant learner, enjoys self-directed research, and has a knack for making complex topics simple.Come and help us shape the future of financial media.Equity Mates Media operates as an independent media business within the Betashares Financial Group, combining entrepreneurial DNA with the backing of one of Australia's leading financial services providers, offering the country's broadest range of ETFs, diversified portfolios, and innovative investment solutions through Betashares Direct and Superannuation.
This unique partnership allows us to maintain our authentic voice and creative independence while leveraging world-class resources and expertise to amplify our impact.Role ResponsibilitiesPlanning & ProductionResearch topics and develop episode ideas across podcast and video formats.Create show outlines, briefing documents, guest guides, and data summaries.Monitor financial news, market trends and audience conversations for content ideas.Work closely with hosts and producers to ensure content is clear, accurate and engaging.Support editorial planning and the content calendar across Equity Mates Media.Skills & ExperienceStrong research and writing skills.Background in finance, economics, journalism, or content creation is a plus - but not essential.Able to explain complex financial ideas in a simple, engaging way.Curious, detail-oriented and organised.Confident collaborating across teams and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.Passionate about investing, financial literacy, and media.Reasons To Join UsWhat We OfferWe believe our most important asset is our people and we are proud of the culture we have built – but we are always striving to be better.
