We have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Maintenance Fitter to join our close-knit team at our clients manufacturing site.Ideally, you will bring previous maintenance experience and a proactive mindset.
Your expertise will contribute to the development of preventative maintenance strategies, ensuring the seamless operation of our clients concrete product manufacturing facility.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure the safe and efficient operation of plant and equipmentConduct preventive maintenance routinesIdentify the root cause of equipment failures and implement solutionsProvide timely and effective resolution of plant failuresParticipate in capital and improvement projectsIdentify and implement improvement opportunitiesFollow all Work Health & Safety (WHS) directivesSkills, Experience & QualificationsStrong working knowledge and application of preventative maintenance strategiesExperience working in a structured maintenance team with accountability for KPI deliveryA proactive attitude and commitment to producing high-quality resultsHigh-level knowledge and commitment to WHS and risk managementExcellent verbal and written communication skillsFormal trade qualifications requiredWillingness to work shifts as requiredIntermediate computer skillsWelding skills (MMAW & MIG essential, TIG optional)Significant experience as a Maintenance Fitter, preferably in manufacturingAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a teamHydraulics and pneumatics training and experienceFlexible work availabilityCurrent forklift licenseReliable transportDesirable Qualifications & ExperienceExperience using a Computerised Maintenance System (MEX preferred)Working at Heights ticketRigger or Dogman ticketWillingness to work overtime when requiredWhat We OfferA supportive and positive team cultureCompetitive salaryEmployee discount systemOngoing training and professional developmentCareer growth opportunities as our national business continues to expandBe part of an organisation that values innovation and employee supportIf you are a dedicated Maintenance Fitter or Electrical Fitter looking to join a dynamic and growing organisation, we would love to hear from you
